INFO:
Last one is my favorite 😂😂 You know when you’re at the car shop and they ask you what sound your car is making and you’re like “??? How am I supposed to imitate a car??” We know our clients sometimes feel that way too when we ask them “well what kind of vomiting are they having?” So the next time your dog makes some weird noises.. maybe this video will help you differntiate it when speaking to your veterinarian! To go over what we cover in the video: Reverse sneezing: We get pets coming in for this all the time! I can’t even describe the noises so just watch Kati again, but it’s generally of no concern unless your pet is just non stop reverse sneezing because that could indicate they have something in their nose. Regurgitating: Essentially, your dog goes “bleh” and they spit up their food, spit etc. Heart related cough: Has more of a wheezing sound while they are coughing. Retching: This is vomiting that includes abdominal contraction. Upper respiratory cough: usually has a little mucus thrown up and a retch at the end. Cat coughing: Commonly people think their cat is about to make a hairball or vomiting as it’s a similar stance, but they are actually coughing! If they are coughing or vomiting, not producing a hairball, please bring them in to be seen by a veterinarian! Does anybody else in vet med have good samples we can also recreate 😂😂😂
